Our Goals

The main goal of the National health research ethics committee of Guinea-Bissau (CNEPS) is to ensure the ethical conduct of health research projects on a national level. This includes ensuring respect for the human rights of the participants and their autonomy to participate voluntarily in the research. The CNEPS also ensure that the principles of justice, beneficence, and non-malfeasance are respected and applied. In the context of the CNEPS' participation in the BCA-WA-ETHICS II project, it aims to encourage and promote the integration of sex and gender perspectives in research in Guinea-Bissau
